My energy - where'd it go?

 Ever wonder what people mean when they say: "Don't let them take your energy."  "Them" could be a troublesome boyfriend or relative, friend or colleague.  I would heed the advice and never really knew what it meant.  Until now.

I had someone in my life that sucked the energy out of me - for 5 years!  This person was close to me for 3 years and not so much for the last two.  But, it wasn't until I had some time and space from this individual that I figured this out completely.

When told he was sucking energy from me I didn't know what kind.  I know now he was sucking every volt of empathetic energy I had in me out and absorbing it all for himself - how rude!

I realized that once I knew the KIND of energy being sucked I can work at not giving it away so easily.  The other AHA moment - was:  I now know why I was drawn to this rude person so much - so much, so much!  My energetic bodies were wanting my energy back!  Hey!  You just stole my energy give it back!  ....and the chase would begin - see what I mean?

So the learning?  Figure out what kind of energy you're giving away and take it back.  If you can't take it back know only that you are being drawn to the person because you want your energy back and for no other reason.

Ahhh, this feels gooood.
